2021/2022 WASSCE Registration For Private Candidates – First Series. The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) mostly known as the WAEC GCE! is an examination for those candidates that are not in School. This ideal is to help individuals to acquire WAEC even when they are not in school for one reason or the other.

The West Examination Council (WAEC) has introduced two series for Private Candidate (First and Second Series). So as to meet up the high demands of private candidates that want to participate annually.

The 2021 WASSCE (WAEC GCE) for Private Candidates – First Series will be an urban-based examination. And about 24 subjects would be available for the examination.

WEAC GCE (WASSCE) 2021 Registration and Exam Date

The registration date for the WASSCE for Private Candidates – First Series is always between October and December. Also, the WAEC GCE examination is usually between the months of January and February. This is the first exam that WAEC conducts in the year.

2021 WAEC GCE Registration Fees

The registration fee for 2021 WAEC GCE for Private Candidate – First Series is Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty Naira only. You will also pay an additional Five Hundred to the banks or accredited agents.

2021 WAEC GCE (WASSCE) Registration Guidelines

WAEC registration for all categories is now an online registration. The 2021 WAEC GCE for Private Candidate – First Series registration is an online process. So we shall you how to register for WASSCE.

  • Visit any of the approved banks or accredited agents and make and pay for the WASSCE registration.
  • A registration PIN will be given to you after confirmation of your payment.

Note that the registration procedure will require a biometric capturing. This will also be used at the examination center for verification purposes.

  • The result checker PIN will be on the photo card and only a digital personal scanner will be use for the fingerprint registration.
  • Completion of registration must be done to weeks of access to the website during the registration period.
    Your names, gender, passport, photographs, dates of birth, and the subjects must be correct.
  • Ensure you print the admission notice/photo card for your identification during the examination.
  • The result checker PIN will also be on the photocard.

Walk-In-Candidates

Candidates that are unable to register during the period of registration will register as Walk-in-Candidates but will have to register within 24 hours to the scheduled time of the paper (s) he or intends to write. The Walk-in-Candidates fee is Twenty Five Thousand Naira only.

Also, candidates with special needs will also register online, but they must state clearly what their challenges are, e.g low mission, speech, blind, spastic, etc.
